Uncle Toms, White Preachers, and the Black Church Experience
First, let us deal with the miseducation of the Uncle Tom Negro. He will gladly stand on the side that condemns Black Liberation Theology because he has done so all along: any doctrine that mentions how Blacks should depend on self and not on white government or to protect themselves against white oppression, scares the hell outta them and their white counterparts. He will agree with whites who hypocritically call Black Liberation Theology racist ideology or reverse racism. He will gladly shed, disown and denounce any traces of Black culture for a piece of white assimilation and continue to shake his head at Black youth and their methods of social rebellion regardless of the rebellious actions of white youth. The Uncle Tom will defend white delinquency as simply growing up while labeling Black delinquency as criminal in need of prison time. The Uncle Tom will talk down about Black Liberation Theology leaders and authors and anyone remotely associated with BLT such as James Cone, Malcolm X, the Black Panthers, and the like while remaining in defense of the white man chicken-pecking movement of Civil Rights. He will speak publicly and loudly against actors who promote BLT or Black Nationalism or speak a word against America and he will write articles, books, and term papers on how disgraceful BLT is and why Blacks should denounce it to its core. He will talk of white Christian principles while spewing hatred for the attempt at freedom from oppression. He will proclaim how Christ was not Black or white nor did he speak racial issues and turn and go home to the picture of white Jesus in his living room. He will stand up proudly and mock Africa, the Caribbean, Black Europe, and Black America while with his life defend all that is white, European and what he believes to be Christian.
Black Liberation Theology is not a doctrine that desires God dead of He does not support the Black cause, it says that if God is a God that condones race discrimination, then he is not a God that Blacks should look to, and rightly so. Anyone with a mind can know that if God is white and condoned slavery and the oppression of Blacks or any people, that that God is no god but an evil satanic entity. And this is what white America does not want to face. That the God they built America upon is actually against the way they built it and the way it is currently run. A note to Black America would suggest that Blacks do not denounce Black Liberation Theology but embrace it closely. Hold tight to the belief that God does not condone racism and discrimination in any form and would never support a people who continue to blatantly oppress others based on skin color. Hear the Spirit and do not be swayed by the deception of false doctrine. God does not operate based on race or on lies but on goodness and truth.
A voice crying in the wilderness is warning America that if the instigators of America's racism are not brought down but allowed continuously to breed animosity and racial discord among the people, those in power who allow it will personally fall one by one to a horrible state. And if the social structure of America is not rearranged to tolerate and include all people regardless of color, then that structure will crumble to an irreparable state. © Mar. 2008 By CR Hamilton
