blkjesus (2K)FYI on Blacks in the Bible

I am a voice crying in the wilderness. I am a writer and a researcher who used to live in Ethiopia, and I am contacting my friends, new and old, to share my research, which I believe shows at least a good chance that Jesus was/is black.....[more]

doom (3K)Racism is Resurrecting, and Bringing the Damnation of a Race

Believe it or not – and many will not – racism is making a serious come back in American society, and even more so in Europe, where racism is almost medieval - and we do mean evil; racial hate and prejudice among whites of the euro-stock against every other color and race on the earth, especially Blacks, is mounting....[more]

armageddon (3K)Armageddon's Prophetic Holy World War 3!
By ArtistCHD

1. Yes, we are counting down to Armageddon's Prophetic Holy World War III. The United States of (racist white supremacist) America is creating the horrible conditions for this to happen. And real soon! Especially by the repeated dropping of heavy bombs, destroying other racial and ethnic groups homes, and the murderous killing of innocent Middle East Asian civilians; Iraqi & Afghanistan women and children....[more]

cainandabel (3K)Where Did Cain's Wife Come From?

The beginning of time and humanity is a phenomena mankind will never know, despite what science or religious relics document or proclaim. The profound mysteries of life are hidden deep within the cosmos of time and existence and we, as a people, can only grow into its revelation. One thing is for sure and cannot be disputed, nothing is absolute, and that is a fact, (pun intended)....[more]

pope (2K)Mortal Man Dies: Gods Walk Eternally

On April 2, 2005, the Western World laments the end of another man's life, while the celestial gods walk the heavens and earth fulfilling the predestination of humanity according to the Most High God. The contributions to humanity brought by the West under the idolatrous religious traditions of Catholicism are but mere mortal delusions and trickery, while, the powers of the kings of the earth will bring the end time.......[more]

The Non-Denominational, Denomination

Logic, reasoning, or whatever else defines the absolute thought process of basic common sense was extremely defied when church leaders decided to classify their religious organization as non-denominational, which is an idiom if there ever was one. The concept, supposedly, is to distinguish themselves from all religious organizations and sects by claiming not to be of any religious denomination. However, that is exactly what they are, a religious denomination........[more]

Bi-Sect-Uality (The Churches)
By Haadiya Zahira Aamon

I am guilty, guilty, guilty, and I would be the first, middle, and last to stand against homosexuality. I heard there are many believers who are against bi-sexually, and are in constant prayer to bring about change. Um! It serves absolutely no purpose, and praying will not make this change.......[more]

Religion is Deeper Than Culture: On Being An African-American Buddhist
by M. LaVora Perry

Almost 13 years ago I emerged from a life of hellish suffering. I had been in and out of battles with eating disorders, suicidal depression and substance abuse, and I had dropped out of college. I found unshakable happiness within myself by embracing Nichiren Buddhism as a member of the Soka Gakkai International (SGI-USA).....[more]

Buddhism, a major world religion, founded in northeastern India and based on the teachings of Siddhartha Gautama, who is known as the Buddha, or Enlightened One. Buddhism today is divided into two major branches known to their respective followers as Theravada, the Way of the Elders, and Mahayana, the Great Vehicle. Followers of Mahayana refer to Theravada using the derogatory term Hinayana, the Lesser Vehicle.

Buddhism has been significant not only in India but also in Sri Lanka, Thailand, Cambodia, Myanmar (formerly known as Burma), and Laos, where Theravada has been dominant; Mahayana has had its greatest impact in China, Japan, Taiwan, Tibet, Nepal, Mongolia, Korea, and Vietnam, as well as in India. The number of Buddhists worldwide has been estimated at between 150 and 300 million. The reasons for such a range are twofold: Throughout much of Asia religious affiliation has tended to be nonexclusive; and it is especially difficult to estimate the continuing influence of Buddhism in Communist countries such as China.

Cast DownIndictment Against False Prophets and Prophetess
By Goddess Isis

Beloved Ones:

I had a Vision some three years ago, and that Vision was not a pretty sight. Those of us who see with the Third eye understand Visions. Some people are ready to rebuke such a Vision and say that it is the devil. How is it when those Visions comes to past? Sounds like Truth and Reality to me.......[more]

The Religious Right Are Spiritually Dead

The irony is uncanny, how a group of people who claim to uphold the concepts of the Holy Bible, on which their country is supposedly built, are not in line with what that Bible teaches. Right-wing organizations, particularly influential Protestant preachers on down the line to conservative politicians, and hard-right conservative white men and women, can become so distant from the biblical concept of compassion.......[more]

smirking_king (8K)Moon Rises in the Black Community

jesus (3K)Another Jesus
C. R. Hamilton

The Bible mentions another Jesus - besides the one born as the Savior - that will be worshipped by a people misguided in the overall concept of the gospel of Christ, the message of religion, and the purpose of salvation. The passage is in the New Testament book of 2 Corinthians 11:4, and reads, "For if he that cometh preacheth another Jesus, whom we have not preached, or if ye receive another spirit, which ye have not received, or another gospel, which ye have not accepted, ye might well bear with him".......[more]

roots (6K)Deep South Witchcraft

In the deepest parts of the south, there are beliefs in a form of witchcraft referred to as "roots." To "put some roots on someone" means that a person, either man or woman (more than likely a woman) will cast a malicious spell on another bringing misfortune on their life or causing the victim to believe things that are merely an illusion of their darkest suspicions......[more]

Many Church Organizations are Similar to Cults

Are you or a Family Member a Victim?

The following statements, compiled by Dr. Michael Langone, editor of Cultic Studies Journal, often characterize manipulative groups. Comparing these statements to the group with which you or a family member is involved may help you determine if this involvement is cause for concern....[more]

The cultic movement in America is what Afromerica will research. We intend to enlighten people to some of the cultic groups and their teachings so people can beware of the false prophets that roam throughout our nation today.

A cult does not necessarily have to be a group of people that leads followers into suicidal destinies, but can be a local church or community organization that indoctrinates people's minds to believe in unnatural, immoral, and unrighteous acts and ideas.

To understand the teachings of cultic groups, a person has to have a concrete knowledge of life and its workings, where humanity, justice, truth, and love are the foundation.

islamicwoman2 (2K)Sexual Crimes: Islamic Perspective
Omar Hasan Kasule, Sr.

Summary
The Islamic approach to sexual crimes is predominantly preventive: regulation of human sexuality, control of antecedents to sexual transgression, and satisfaction of sexual desire within marriage. If these measures were followed, these crimes would be virtually wiped out. The few offenders would be punished severely by the death sentence. The victims need rehabilitation to be able to live normal lives once again......[more]

Human Moral Standards are Universal
By Sayyid Abul Ala Mawdudi - IslamiCity

A moral sense is inborn in man and, through the ages, it has served as the common man's standard of moral behavior, approving certain qualities and condemning others. While this instinctive faculty may very from person to person, human conscience has consistently declared certain moral qualities to be good and others to be bad......[more]

THE FAMILY SYSTEM:
By: Dr. Lois Lamya al Faruqi

One of the Islamic traditions, which will affect the way in which Muslim women respond to feminist ideas, is the advocacy in Islamic culture of an extended rather than a nuclear family system. Some Muslim families are "residentially extended" - that is, their members live communally with three or more generations of relatives (grandparents, parents, uncles, aunts, and their offspring) in a single building or compound.....[more]

Iraqi/American Cultural Wars

Katie Couric - co-anchor of the Today Show - did a report on the cultural lives of Iraqi women on the January 13, 2003 broadcast. Then she interviewed an Iraqi anchorwoman of supposedly equal status to herself. The report focused on the every day lives of Iraqi women pertaining to fashion, career, education and social freedoms. And the interview with the Iraqi anchorwoman, in which the anchorwoman was obviously on the defensive of her country's culture, consisted of a type of social "peer-pressure" questioning from Ms. Couric......[more]

Islam, one of the three major world religions, along with Judaism and Christianity, that profess monotheism, or the belief in a single God. In the Arabic language, the word Islam means "surrender" or "submission"-submission to the will of God. A follower of Islam is called a Muslim, which in Arabic means "one who surrenders to God."

The Arabic name for God, Allah, refers to the same God worshiped by Jews and Christians. Islam's central teaching is that there is only one all-powerful, all-knowing God, and this God created the universe. This rigorous monotheism, as well as the Islamic teaching that all Muslims are equal before God, provides the basis for a collective sense of loyalty to God that transcends class, race, nationality, and even differences in religious practice. Thus, all Muslims belong to one community, the umma, irrespective of their ethnic or national background.

Within two centuries after its rise in the 7th century, Islam spread from its original home in Arabia into Syria, Egypt, North Africa, and Spain to the west, and into Persia, India, and, by the end of the 10th century, beyond to the east . In the following centuries, Islam also spread into Anatolia and the Balkans to the north, and sub-Saharan Africa to the south.

The Muslim community comprises about 1 billion followers on all five continents, and Islam is the fastest-growing religion in the world. The most populous Muslim country is Indonesia, followed by Pakistan and Bangladesh. Beyond the Middle East, large numbers of Muslims live in India, Nigeria, the former republics of the Union of Soviet Socialist Republics (USSR), and China.
