To Hell With Social Conformity

Before I explain what I mean by conformity, I am going to illustrate the concept of social conformity with a parable, which goes a little something like this:

There was an old man about in his late 60's early 70's who had a grandson who was around 12 or 13. They were poor and lived in the country and all they owned was a ragged old mule who was as old as the man. They loved the mule and the mule loved them and they took good care of the mule, since it was there only means of survival. Who you hang with says a lot about you. It can also have influence on what you become and accomplish in your life. The company you keep, the conversation you speak, and the hands you slap can mean the difference between success and failure.

Do you choose your friends based on money? Material things? Clothes and wardrobe? What? How do you choose your friends?

Blacks must first realize that there are two types of Blacks in America; you have the "Ghetto Minded" and you have the "Success Minded."

Take The Test

As a simple test of who and which crowd you belong to, the next time you are speaking to someone for the duration of two minutes, count the number of cuss words that come out of your mouth, that should tell you. If more than half of your words are cuss words, you may have to rethink your outlook on life. But if your vocabulary lacks profanity then you have a mind that thinks clear and without corruption. However, that does not mean you are intelligent, it only means you can think for yourself.
