Personality Interpretation


Extroversion

Quiet - Most people suppose that quiet people are not assertive enough to take stances and speak their minds. The fact is quiet people are thinkers. This means that they take care in what words they use and when the time comes, they will speak their mind and most of the time their views are correct.

Reserved - To be reserved means to hold back feelings and emotions. People who withhold these aspects of their personality are in fact, waiting for the right time and or the right person to expose themselves to. Protection of their feelings is high priority.

Shy - Shyness is the result of low self-esteem in certain areas. Not all areas, but certain areas. This area would be one in which the person has been challenged before as a child. Some people are shy because they are trying to make sense of the things and circumstance around them.

Silent - People who prefer to be silent as opposed to speaking out are using what they know as a weapon against authority. They are nor necessarily shy or quiet, but are planning. They also hoard information for the right time.

Talkative - People who express themselves through continual verbal exchange are people unsure of their position. They talk to cover this weakness. They are like human vacuums that gather information from audio sources and repeat that information to others. However, a talkative person is good for speaking a well-organized opinion.

Assertive - Determination drives the assertive person. If they have a point to prove, an action to pursue, or a project in mind, they will take all available resources and opportunities to get whatever needs to be done, done.

Active - High energy levels define the active person. They see things in life as a challenge and need a chance at accepting that challenge, and if given the chance, they will pursue it. Organization, communication, and planning are strong characteristics of active people.

Energetic - Like the active person, energetic people need an outlet to express them selves. However, the only difference in them and active people is they lack some form of organization and planning and tend to act spontaneously.



Agreeableness

Faultfinding - Because of a lack of good fortune in their lives, people become faultfinders. This is not a natural personality trait but an adaptive one. If oppressed or deprived for long periods of time, anyone would become a faultfinder.

Cold - Coldness describes a level of meanness in a person. Lack of concern for others and even concern for ones self, leads to a cold heart or a characteristic of meanness toward others.

Unfriendly - This also, is an adapted behavior, not one a person can be born with. It often results from a past experience in a person's life in dealing with a close friend or family member. However, unfriendly people can be the best friends if they submit to a friendship.

Quarrelsome - Frustration plays a main part in the quarrelsome person. Somewhere in life and possibly in recent events, things did not go their way. This does not necessarily mean it did not go their way because of their own shortcomings, but because of someone else's shortcomings.

Sympathetic - Sympathy is a natural characteristic. Many people genuinely understand the sufferings of others and relate to them in that manner. Dealing with a situation according to the circumstance takes the natural gift of tolerance.

Kind - Kindness is also a natural characteristic although can be learned to an extent. People who see the good in others generally show kindness to others. It takes a true concern for the well being of other people for kindness to shine.

Appreciative - To appreciate something or someone does not mean materialistically only. Appreciation comes from experience with other things, which leads to contentment with life in general.

Affectionate - Affection is not only natural, but usually learned from those close to you. It is a characteristic that must be nurtured to work. If shown enough affection from others anyone can return that same affection over time.



Conscientious

Careless - In times of confusion and loss of control, many get careless. No one is born careless; this is a trait that is placed upon someone overtime.

Disorderly - This also, is a trait that comes with outside pressures. Anyone who shows disorderly conduct is one who feels they have received no respect in any of their efforts. If someone is criticized enough and never encouraged, they will resort to the opposite of the expected behavior.

Frivolous - Another characteristic of carelessness, in which people will go about regular activities without regard to consequences, other people, or rules and regulations of the immediate authority. No regard for property or value reigns high in this person's mind.

Irresponsible - This is another pressured trait that can be broken. Irresponsible people basically have a choice to be or not to be irresponsible; it usually depends on who or what the circumstance is.

Organized - Sometimes this trait can be mistaken for a disorder, which is far from the truth. Organization is a state of mind, which reveals what a person thinks. Their thoughts are usually organized and not confused thus they show this in their outward actions.

Thorough - More attentive to detail than many, thorough people want things to be just right. Borderline disorder, however, thoroughness can lead to obsessions. People who tend to see results in their mind have a need to make the outer just like the mind sees it.

Planful - Planful people are more often then not, procrastinators. They have an idea of what they want to accomplish but usually lack the resources and motivation to do it. They too, are thinkers and see the final result in their mind.

Efficient - Efficient people see the value in all things. They also know worthless things and situations when they see it. Savoring moments, objects, and memories are a large part of the efficient person's routine and they can be trusted with almost anything of value.



Neuroticism

Tense - Brought on by a slight nervous disorder, tense people are careful and often aware of their surroundings. They pay close attention to people and situations around them and must know the details.

Anxious - Sometimes leads to carelessness. Unable to control their patience, anxious people look over the obvious and approach a problem from the most reactive position. They are also sometimes bad judges of character and circumstances.

Nervous - Nervousness is a problematic disorder caused by a series of troublesome events in a person's life. This person cannot concentrate fully on what is before them and menial things around them are a distraction.

Moody - Yet another trait brought on by various emotional experiences that resulted in negative outcomes. People who suffer from mood swings have lost control of the circumstances around them and have resorted to defense mechanisms to protect them from further harm.

Stable - People who place themselves in stable positions are conservative and fear change. They produce better in routine environments and cannot cope with too many changes and too much confusion.

Calm - Calmness is a reflection of contentment, confidence, and reason. People who seem calm no matter what the circumstance have decided to believe that anything can happen thus, they are prepared for anything.

Contented - To be content means to accept whatever state you are in. It takes a lot to bring a person to contentment, usually people who are older experience contentment more than anyone. To gain contentment, one has to fulfill most of the goals in their life.

Unemotional - There is a saying that there are onion babies and apple babies. Onion babies have no soul but apple babies have a core. No one is born without emotion thus unemotional people have chosen not to show emotion; usually from the result of past hurt.



Openness to experience

Commonplace - Routine is a major part of the person with a commonplace mindset. They are happy with the way things are and expect or attempt no changes. Life is as it comes and they believe that that is the way it is.

Narrow Interest - Often known as narrow-minded, these people refuse to see any other view of life other than their own. Stubbornness plays a key role. They have experienced times in their life where they were challenged and found wrong but refuse to believe it and set out to prove otherwise, which is rarely successful.

Simple - A simple-minded person refuses knowledge, change, and innovation. They are afraid that what they have learned throughout their life is wrong and decide to continue to live according to what they do know.

Shallow - Lacking imagination, creativity, and productiveness. They live on the surface of life and often mock that which is beyond their understanding or knowledge base.

Wide-Interest - People who, have wide interest or are knowledgeable have a need to find the truth, cause, and reason of things. However, they can be extremely serious about things and do not take part in pleasurable activities.

Imaginative - A wild imagination can be either extreme or slight. People with a wild imagination dream a lot and cannot seem to begin or complete a project because of the circumstances of reality. However, if their projects are met with proper resource, they can be very popular.

Intelligent - Cognitive people tend to react according to reason instead of emotion. To be intelligent does not necessarily mean being the smartest, but it means to be more reasonable than others. Thinking people are more intelligent than emotional people, in other words.

Original - A characteristic of imagination and creativity, people who choose to do things contrary to popular ways are more original than not. They go against the grain and do things differently, which often takes a high level of intelligence and creativity.
