AFRO EVILS
The Evils of American Politics

Election of politicians is supposed to be based on choosing someone who represents the majority of the people's interest. It should never be based on obligation, revenge against the opponent, or adoration for a candidate's personality. The coming presidential election of 2004 will evaluate voters on each of the above points, as well as influence the course of America's morality.

Voting for one of "the lesser evils" sums up America's overall position on morality, whether it be continued world dominance and pursuance of an all white society by way of the Republican Party; or it be promotion of anti-biblical values from a Democratic perspective. Participating in the America political elections calls one of the two characteristics from within the average person.

Why the negativity when describing the choices? Because this is how the candidates portray one another in the last few months of the r ace. Negative ads and cynical supporters of either sling mud, throw blows and air laundry during these times. But regardless of how they accuse and portray their opponent, the American voter must consider the future of the country and our children's well-being.

We have learned the hard way that neglect of our children and the dissipation of the American family have birthed indifferent and disrespectful youth. Laws that protect abortion and gay marriage, policies that encourage free sexual expression and social gatekeepers that promotes violence, drugs, and sex through television and movie theaters to our children all fall under the umbrella of the Democratic vote.

If the above lifestyles were ones that the Democratic voter believes in and feels would advance society, then by all means vote Democrat. However, when all hell continues to break lose in areas of teen pregnancy, drug use, and school and gang violence, there is no need to sit before the American public to analyze the problem; your vote for these values would be the reason.

On the other hand, if your concern were truly for the future of our children and solidarity of American culture, then your vote would go toward a more traditional party. Not that the Republican Party has the answers to the future of America or can solve any of the current problems overnight, however, they do promote and believe in traditional family values and the laws of Supreme authority.

Another of the immoral Democratic ideologies has tainted the image of the conservative agenda, which is lying. They would that Democratic voters (especially Black ones) believe that Republicans are racist, homophobic, womanizers, who have the intensions of imperializing the world under American control, and Democrats will use any means necessary to place fear into the hearts and minds of their supporters to make believable the extremity of these lies.

Though it is not wise to believe everything one hears, consideration of the premise should not be counted out either. Republicans are comprised of majority white males who think along these lines, but not to the extreme that the Democrats would have one to believe. And vise-versa. Not all Democrats live and breathe immorality.

It is the basic agenda of the two parties that actually count, yet the Democratic agenda promotes values that are contrary to almost everything that is decent and that once held together the traditional family before the revolutions of the 60s. Whereas, the agenda of the Republican Party is against all that is equal, fair, and just toward every race and culture in society. It would rather have an all white society, if at all possible.

So, the question remains whether or not to vote for either of the two evils. Depending on what the voter wants to see in the future of this country should the answer be based. Fighting against an all white society requires the Democratic stance, and fighting for morality requires a Republican stance.

Since the average person can have a little of both running through their blood stream, maybe this is why voters vote based on the shallow reasons stated earlier, obligation, revenge against the opponent, or adoration for a candidate's personality, because the meaning of the people's interest is lost. And again, maybe this is why more than half the country does not vote at all, for lack of a better choice from the evils of American politics. Even more reason the world needs a Savior.
