See also the Republican Ideology Civil Rights for all as a definition to the Democrats means just that, for all, regardless of race, gender, sexual preference, or even species. The essential meaning of Civil Rights guarantees equal protection under the laws of the nation. No race, gender, or individual can be tried or treated differently under these laws. Now, Civil Rights was necessary to bring Blacks from under the unjust laws of Jim Crow, and helpful for allowing women the same rights as men in the workforce, but that was the extent to which Civil Rights were actually needed. Once the laws were passed and Blacks and women began to be treated as human beings and not as cattle or property, then came along Civil Rights laws for the handicapped, Veterans, and the Elderly, and these citizens deserved equal rights as well as others, however, these rights should not be classified as Civil Rights because neither were treated as inhumane as Blacks and women. These rights could have well been passed under a lesser title such as Equal Rights for Citizens. Nevertheless, Civil Rights activist have taken the Civil Rights titled and purpose and applied it to such rights as Gay Rights, Child Rights, and Animal Rights. The difference between Civil Rights for these groups of humanity and for actual oppressed humans is grave and very obvious. Gays, children, and animals are not suppressed to the point of social separation, financial suppression, or blatant cruelty equal to slavery. Though there have been cases of child abuse and animal cruelty, these issues would be better handled by a system based on the personal responsibility of parents and pet owners and not on government law. To believe in Civil Rights means to believe that all people have the right to be treated civility as humans and not as property or cattle. There is a difference and a difference that should not be confused with and warranted as the business of the United States Government. Democrats believe in Affirmative Action because they feel that Blacks and women should be given the same opportunities as whites (preferably white males) in society. This concept justifies why Civil Rights should protect certain groups and not just any groups. Affirmative Action was needed because corporations and Institutions of Higher Learning were discriminating in whom they allowed to work at or attend their faculties. Dogs and children can be exempt from this scenario, and most gays and white women. But Blacks benefited from Affirmative Action the most simply because it was Blacks who suffered, and continue to suffer the most at the hands of institutional discrimination. However, behind the ideology of Affirmative Action lies the belief that Blacks cannot make it on their own and need help from the government by way of laws enforced to protect them. Democrats push hard for the Affirmative Active agenda not because they believe that Blacks need help and protection against racism, but subconsciously believe that Blacks do not have the smarts and potential to qualify for certain positions in corporations and slots in Higher Learning Institutions. This type thinking gave rise to the southern racist party of the Dixiecrats who opposed the abolishment of slavery. Abortion fits into the Civil Rights issues as a privilege of women, whom Democrats believe should have the right to decide what to do with her own body. Beside the fact that abortion - especially mid to late-term abortion - is blatant murder, to fight for the right of a women to preserve her own body instead of a baby's life says a lot about the character and moral persona of that woman. It reeks of selfishness, irresponsibility, and free-lifestyle without consequences. Because society has promoted free sexual lifestyles beginning in the early 70's, people have succumbed to the delusion that abortion is an acceptable problem solver and a right that should be protected under the United States Constitution. Simply because a man-made court decided to give women the license to abort a child does not mean that the act is a good moral one or even a humane one. It simply means that American society has fallen to a delusion of lust that has taken complete control over the ability to think sensibly. Another expression of the 70's, birth control in conjunction with safe sex has given way to a more powerful form of sexual exploitation. This trend has plagued our families, our children, and has cast a grim darkness on the schools to which they give the go-ahead for kids to have sex, and that without consequence. Birth control has given birth to widespread reasons to have sex with anyone at anytime and not worry about the consequences. Medicines such as the morning after pill and the numerous methods of birth control contain chemicals that doctors claim as safe yet are doing more harm to the woman's health than good. This agenda goes hand in hand with abortion and if one supports abortion, they support free sexual lifestyle, which helps to deteriorate the culture of American family life. Scientist has conflicting views as to how much of the earth is truly being destroyed. As many experts that claim industrial societies are destroying the earth there are just as many experts proclaiming that the theory is not so. The earth replenishes naturally and nothing man can do could destroy the earth and its cycles unless they put forth the effort to destroy themselves. The reason Democrats cry loud about the environment is because they want the government to pass laws and impose government regulations that reduce profits of huge oil companies and other industrial companies so that that money can fund federal programs such as welfare and universal health care, for what they consider to be the poor. They lobby for taxes on companies that manufacture Sports Utility Vehicles, process tobacco, and that produce energy from the use of oil. These are the most prosperous companies in the world so they target these companies. Furthermore, the Democrats protest the use of these things but benefit from them daily. Most wealthy Democrats own water fountains that spray into their yards day and night wasting thousands of gallons of water a month just so the neighbors and tourist can gawk at where and how they live. They too, drive large cars, motor pools, and smoke tobacco, cocaine, and waste mounds of paper on business deals that make them more millions. This is the biggest agenda for the Democrats than anything. As long as there are poor, they have a reason to protest. Therefore, they are sure to keep the poor, poor. If there were no poor, the Democrats would have no reason to exist. Think carefully about this theory. If the Democrats were to succeed in equalizing the financial distribution around the country, there would be no poor and they would have no one to defend in this matter. Government programs are designed to make dependants out of otherwise capable people. This is why they fight hard against welfare reform. They camouflage their reasoning to make people believe they are fighting for the poor when in fact they are fighting to keep them poor and dependant. Programs like welfare need to be done away with completely because it undermines the ability of many people and places them in a category of social burdens and misfits. Other programs such as government funded before and after school programs, free school lunches, drug treatment centers, and community centers are liaisons through which Democrats lobby Congress for support of low-income neighborhoods. If the community establishments that service the communities funded these services, government programs or funds would not be needed any longer. If community leaders and city council members designed ways to fuel the economy of their own neighborhoods instead of spending on themselves, the government could focus on the actual state of the nation. This is a touchy subject because there are legitimate reasons for national gun control. Not everyone should be able to purchase a gun anytime they want. A program that restricts gun ownership to certain people with a certain agenda is something the government should seriously consider. There are too many illegal guns on city streets, which are too easily assessable to children. Yet, people should have the right to own a gun to be used for self-protection and defense if they are responsible citizens. The Constitution itself states that people have a right to bear arms especially if the government attempts to rise against and control the people. The Democrats believe, however, that no one except law enforcement and military personnel should carry guns, meaning that no one else should own one. This means that no citizen would be able to legally own a gun, which limits their ability to protect themselves against anyone and or the government. The hidden agenda in this scenario is that, if the people had no guns and the government had them all, it would be easier for the government to operate a complete sovereignty over its citizens. Health care for everyone at the same price is the idea. Affordable treatment and medicine would assure that everyone in the country is healthy and protected from overpriced service and price gauging by health care providers and pharmaceutical companies. The ideal is humane and would work if properly enforced. The downfall of universal health care is that physicians would refuse to treat people for lower pay. The medical field would not be as prominent as it is now and medical school would see a sharp decrease in enrollment if the benefits were not as prestigious or economically sound. Also, the quality of service could drop and people would not receive good health care. This issue is a total waste of time and money and should not be considered as a legitimate issue. The essential ideal from the Democratic perspective is to get the government to pay for political campaigns since it is a government oriented activity. The reason the Dems feel so strongly about this policy is that they are not able to raise as much money for their campaigns as Republicans so this is their way of evening the playing field. The downside is that the Dems mudsling in their campaigns and are the primary advocates of negative advertising against the Republican Party. Instead of promoting the actual issues and how they would solve the problems facing the country, the Democrats purchase expensive television ads that do nothing more than fault-find and degrade Republican agenda. Abolishing the death penalty is an agenda of the Democrats. They see it as a humanitarian statement and use it against the hard-liners of the Republican Party who back and use the death penalty, such as President Bush. The problem with this issue is that whether Democrat or Republican, the death penalty is not used as it should be. Justice using the death penalty in historical times was a swift act. Convicted felons were executed the very next day if not the same day they were convicted. The reason felons are not executed today in the same manner is because the judicial system can never be certain if they have the right person or if the person was justly tried. The breakdown of the judicial system is enough to abolish the death penalty because the system has no sound and solid way of knowing whether someone actually committed a crime or not. If the tried and convicted felons of today's court system were executed the very next day, there would be thousands of innocent people dead simply because the system is unsound. Here lies the problem of national security. If the Democrats had their way, there would be hardly no military spending thus the U.S. Armed services would not have the resources needed to maintain military superiority in the world. The security of the nation would be at risk because military policies are not a high priority on the Democratic list as it is on the Republican list. Diplomacy is the tactic used by Democrats but diplomacy and peace treaties do not always work, especially when facing an enemy who has no country such as terrorist. Foreign policies when it pertains to military force has in the past been used recklessly by Democratic Administrations and more recently used against U.S. interest by exposing critical and confidential information to foes of the U.S. Military preparedness in vital for any country with enemies and the U. S. cannot afford to be caught with their guard down in this age of terrorism. The outcome of 911 would have been much different had Democrats been in the White House and things could be much worst than they are now. A favorite agenda of Liberal policy makers is multiculturalism, a concept that seeks to assimilate into American culture traditions and behaviors of other peoples. The ideal is to create an environment where all cultures and races can communicate with one another in one universal language. This concept is currently being used mainly in American schools as far as curricula is concerned; teaching children how to accept various cultures, lifestyles, and traditions. The only thing about multiculturalism is that if the country continues on this path there will be no majority rule but that of a multicultural people who promote many different types of lifestyles, whether those lifestyles are good or bad, and everyone else would have to accept those lifestyles as conditions of government law. Summary The Democrats are a group that wants to transform society into a cesspool of freewill meaning; everyone has rights to live however they want regardless of the circumstances or consequences. Democratic ideology promotes sexual promiscuity by way of providing methods and medicines that protect against diseases, pregnancy, and the guilt of spontaneous intercourse. They are against the overall concept of individual responsibility and promote methods of collective control by a government entity. The road they have paved leads to one large community of free-will thinkers, one educational system teaching one curricula, one medical system treating all with the same drugs, and one mind-set that convinces all people to tolerate any lifestyle and behavior. They seek peace but are blind to the possibility that another country seeks to destroy America. They are in serious denial to the fact that America is hated and any day could be its last day. They believe that the world loves them because they "help" and "aid" other countries but this is not enough when your country also underdevelops and undermines. The above issues are the ones that lace party campaign speeches and propaganda. Politicians seek to win your vote by appealing to your sense of political interest while bringing into question your morals and values. Democrats actually never address these issues as moral ones but as political ones, which is how many people are deceived into abandoning what they believe for what they suppose is in the best interest of the country. But reading between the lines is necessary if anyone wants the best person for the job to run the country. © 2003 by AfroStaff
