AFRO LETTER
January 1, 2004

FROM: Staff and Supporters of Afromerica at Afromerica.com
TO: America's Black Leaders and Representatives of the People

SUBJECT: THE UN-REPRESENTED BLACK AMERICA

Contrary to your obviously restricted view and understanding of the state of Black-America, not all Blacks vote Democrat or are liberal or conservative at heart. In fact, according to the 2000 voting results and the overall social and economical make-up and lifestyle of Black-America, more than the majority of Blacks did not vote nor do they comprise the majority of the middle class, therefore, by all common logic Black-America cannot be lumped together under neither party nor the educated elitist.

Because the actual split of Black-America's social and political make-up came after the Civil Rights Movement of the late sixties, and because whites and the media chose the Black leadership to represent what they wanted to believe Black-America should be, this action did not include hundreds of thousands of Blacks who then and still today continue to resist the system of American democracy.

So we ask, who are you to speak for a people you have no understanding of? If you had an understanding you would not be where you are today because you would not be allowed there. See, the Black-America that society cut from the public's eye was a militant Black-America led by courageous Black leaders who refused to be brought by the American media and political demagogues.

If you will not throw off the cloak you wear for white America and represent the real Black-America, then we ask that you step down and never speak again for what you suppose to be "Black-America." If this is a request that you cannot honor, then we ask that you publicly announce through your media comrades to the entire nation that you do not represent all of Black-America and that there is another faction of Blacks that have yet a voice to speak for them.

If you find the latter action beyond what your dignity can handle, then we will send this letter to your media friends and hundreds of other government representatives, local, state, and national, by which they can know for themselves that there is another Black-America that lives within these states gone un-represented. A Black-America that will not vote neither Democrat nor Republican, will not march or protest on Washington because of it's outdated tactics, will not succumb to the political demagogues that continue year after year and decade after decade to undermine and compromise Black efforts.

From the date of this letter you have 3 months to make a national public speech that will distinguish you from the real Black-America by way of announcing that you DO NOT speak for the entire Black population in America and that there is another who would like to make demands of their own, and that you represent a certain political/elitist faction of Black-America and them only. DO NOT name this "other" Black-America by any means. We are a Black people already named.

Peace, and think unity despite your political background
