AFRO OPPRESSION
naacp (33K)NAACP Stop Oppressing Black People
By Mmoja

Please go to this link http://www.PetitionOnline.com/ajabum/petition.html and sign the petition that calls for the NAACP to release the report it prepared on the 2002 Zimbabwe Presidential Elections. For the NAACP not to release the report actually damages Blacks born in America's relationship with Blacks born on the African continent.

I have spoken with the Ambassadors from Zimbabwe, South Africa, Mali, Angola, and Tanzania. They have informed me that they are reluctant to share their natural resources such as gold, diamonds, and oil just to name a few, with Blacks born in America because of the NAACP's reluctance to release the report it prepared on the Zimbabwe election.

They question whether Blacks in America are more interested in whites continued oppression then we are about our brother's liberation. We can't allow the NAACP to send this message on behalf of Blacks born here in America. Africa must be for Africans at home and abroad. W.E.B. DuBois wrote in his book The Souls of Black Folks about how Blacks in America struggle with "double consciousness."

The struggle was whether we would identify more so with being American than with our African origin. Whether your African identity, or your American one prevails doing what's right dictates that we cannot let this psychological struggle cause us under any circumstances to support American policy that will cause the continued oppression of Black people on the African continent.

We will submit this petition to the NAACP. Black folks must stand together at home and abroad. Any righteous white folks are welcomed to stand with us by signing the petition for the NAACP to release the report. It is what God would have us do. Please cc a copy of your signature to this email address. Also spread this petition as far and wide as you can. We cannot remain silent about an issue of this importance. Lives will be lost without your signature. SIGN NOW!
