AFRO INDOCTRINATION
blkstudent (14K)Education or Indoctrination? Part 1
By: I-khan

Recently, I was in my Algebra class and realized something after a certain incident. A fellow classmate of mine (who was a black male like myself) had been called to the board to do a problem. He tried, but did not succeed. A particular expression caught my eye as he took his seat, which was directly behind me. He looked sad and bewildered.

I wondered to myself, is he beginning to think that just because he cannot figure a certain problem out he is stupid, or is that the type of mindset that the current Euro-educational system has put into his head, I KNOW the latter one is the truth.

The current form of schooling needs critique from an actual student; this current form is growing worldwide so it may reflect the views of my fellow teenage peers. Below you will find some common statements that vary in context that is commonly mentioned in the educational field and educational statistics and my rebuttal to such:

School system: To make it in this world you need a formal education.

I-khan: Wrong, to make it in a capitalist regime made off of greed you need the "education" which is really an indoctrination of data that someone tells you. Are you really going to depend on someone else to tell you what you need to know or are you willing to go find out. The perfect example will be John Henrik Clarke, whom will be the focus of an upcoming article of mine.

School system: We measure intelligence.

I-khan: Wrong, you measure memory; it does not take intelligence to remember anything. The measurement of the "grading scale" is nothing but the measurement of how hard someone chooses to work. That is why I do not get excited by an "A" or mad at an "F".

School system: We were founded on the basis of educating the people.

I-khan: wrong, if you were than why do your origins have to do with controlling the masses and social conformity?

More to come
