White males that dropped out of high school earn and average annual salary of $19,000; Blacks that drop out earn an average of $16,000 annually. Whites that graduate High school earns an average annual income of $28,000 and Blacks earn an average of $22,000 annually.

White males with some college but no degree earn an average of $33,000 annually and Black males earn an average $25,000 annually. White males with an associate's degree earn $41,000 annually and Blacks earn $29,000 a year.

White males with a bachelor's degree earn $56,000 annually and Blacks with the same degree earn $42,000 annually.

White males with a degree higher than a Bachelor's degree including Master's, professionals, and Doctrinate's earn an average annual income between $65,000 - $85,000 annually and Black males with the same degrees earn an average income between $47,000 - $68,000 annually.

In fact, Blacks who have earned a doctrinate degrees earn at most $46,000 while whites earn $85,000. It is better for a Black man not to earn a Doctrinate degree.

What these Stats Say

There are obvious racial differences in annual income, which implies that racism remains in the workforce regardless of what any studies say or what the media portrays. This income divide is one that can only be addressed by employers, not government laws or quotas. Discrimination is an individual decision and not a political decision, thus employer policies should be investigated.

Because Blacks earn significantly less than whites in almost all occupations, Black families have less an opportunity for a "pursuit of happiness" supposedly promised by America. Lack of financial assets lessens any people's ability to grow and exceed in a society. As long as the above stats remain a reality in America, this country will always remain a racist country.
