I'm ready to stop playing and be who I am
I am the light!
It shines so bright!
Because I know I'm made in the image of the Most High
Sometimes I forget
I think we all do at times
But today I remembered
So I wanted to remind you with this rhyme

See we were all TOLD we are made in the image of the Most High
But we don't KNOW it-
So we don't show it-and we keep asking why Sometimes we get tired
And just break down and cry
When all we had to do in the beginning
Is just let our light shine bright
Stop worrying about and contributing to this foolishness in life
And be who we already ARE
I AM the light!
So are you!
Let it shine bright!
For your sake and mine.
