I will rather pray to a God that has ear to hear than a dead God
I will rather worship a living God than a dead one
I will rather obey a living God than a dead one
I will rather interact with a living God than a dead one
I will rather sing praises to a living God than a dead one
I will listen to a God that will warn before killing or maiming me than to a
God that will strike me to death without a warning
To you Mother Nature I offer prayer

You gave birth to the Sun
You gave birth to the Moon
You gave birth to oceans
You commanded rivers to feed them so that they are neither hungry nor thirsty
You gave birth to all animals, birds of heaven, all beings inside rivers and oceans
Having created trees that bring out fruits, leaves, tubers, other animals and grasses to feed them.
To you Mother Nature I offer prayer

All elements crawling on their stomachs
Those crawling on their legs
Those walking vertically
Those walking horizontally
Are all work of your hand
To you Mother Nature I offer prayer

You feed them
You cloth them
You give them water to drink
Food to eat
Without you they will not exist
Without you there would be no place to hide their heads
To you I offer this prayer this year
To you Mother Nature I offer prayer

From your womb man crawled out
First with a cry
You then nursed man from your abundance
Then man uttered words
Then he crawled
Then he walked
Developed senses
When he looked around he saw but plenty
Enough Food to eat
Enough water to drink
Land to work and trek on Wood
Just too much for man to understand why he was so blessed
To you Mother Nature I offer prayer

You taught him to make fire
You continue to guide his path to a fulfilling life
Yet he failed to understand you
Thought he has conquered you
Turning himself to a Lord over you
Though shall not have another God you reminded man
But he failed to listen
He forgot so easily that he came with nothing
And he will depart empty handed
To you Mother Nature I offer prayer

The passing year
You became angry
You were so offended
You unleashed pain on earth
You took one and left one
Parents returned home without their children
Children returned home without their parents
Loved ones still looking for missing ones
Where possible you took all
Just to show that you are the Lord
That you are still in firm control of the affairs of the world
You warned never again should man forget or neglect you
To you Mother Nature I offer prayer

Let this year be a year of peace on earth
Oh mother Nature
Make it a year to descend on those that are not showing you much respect
A year to destroy those that are hell bent at destroying you
Make it a year of plenty mother
A year for barren to give birth
Provide job for those looking for job
End all wars oh mother
Bring an end to pains and sorrows on earth
To you Mother Nature I offer prayer

Oh MOTHER NATURE bless the land and all its inhabitants
Do not swallow the inhabitants alive again
Command your sea not to take the living in return for dead
Never again shall you roar and consume your offspring
I appeal to you, to shower the inhabitant of the land with understanding
Shower them with peace, love and harmony

Let them understand once again that you just taught us a lesson
That in unity for ever shall man be
For you created them all the same
Male and female
Black and White
Red and Yellow
Green and Brown
Rich and poor
Able and disabled
That in your womb there is no discrimination
You give air to all being
You give all being water to drink
You cause your sun to shine over their face
You touched more than 36 countries in one week
Telling man that you have no boundary when you are furious
To you Mother Nature I offer prayer
Oh to you Mother Nature I offer prayer

As we journey through this period
Grant unto us the wisdom and knowledge to acknowledge that You Are the Lord
