There are several disabilities of neurological etiology that can be mistaken for ADHD.

Also, a high percentage of children with symptoms falling into the ADHD diagnostic category have co-morbidities, such as motor planning deficits, dyslexia, obsessive compulsive disorders, depression, anxiety disorders. Only a very tiny percentage of medical researchers are only now learning that, if you medicate (with psychotropic drugs not tested on children, much less children with neurological disabilities), then the medications will often worsen the first disabilities and the other ones, and in addition introduce new disabilities.

School districts are pressuring parents to put their children on this garbage---because then the children often crack and they are easier to mislabel for institutionalization and for exploiting for further cash from government agencies, or to shift the funding burden onto other government agencies.

The community of parents must organize against the dirty assessments and dirtier drugging of children.
