In an attempt to set positive Black character back 60 years in order to exalt samboism, the Wayans Brothers have failed in doing so after a ruling by the Federal Government via the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office who "rejected the name [Nigga] submitted by actor/comedian Damon Wayans for his hip-hop clothing line."

Curious as to why the brothers would want young Black brothers and sisters to pay hundreds of dollars to flaunt around in self-degrading clothing, Afromerica discusses this self-hating act in a mock interview with the brothers and their sister, Kim. Note, the interview is purely satirical so drop the phone.

Afro Interview with "The Niggers."

CR Hamilton of Afromerica - So, Mr. [Damon] Wayans, what possessed you and your brothers to think of such an ignorant idea? Was it money or are you all just self-hating and stupid.

Damon W - Hey wait brother CR, you don't have to go there and call me and my brothers stupid and wees don't hate ourselves, lets discuss this intelligently.

CR - You right brother, is someone else home I can talk too?

Shawn W on the other line - Now wait man, you insulting my family, we don't need this s**t…hang up Damon …hang up the phone.

CR - Ok, ok, I was just playing…I thought yall brothers had a sense of humor…. Anyway, seriously, what is the motivation here with the "Nigga" clothing line, is there a positive message for Blacks in America in all this?

Keenan W on the other line - Yes there is…it is a "term of endearment" wees Black people use for each other, its like showing love and supporting that love by wearing it in public so white folks can see we don't mind being called niggers.

CR - Oh, I see. Like a white person wearing a "Honkey" t-shirt…yeah, that makes sense.

Shawn - Look Damon, this dude is talking s**t, hang up the phone, we ain't got time…we got money and do not need to hear this from some half-baked web designer.

Marlon in the background shouting - Ain't nothing wrong wit being an Uncle Tom!

Keenan - Shut up Marlon.

CR - All right, so you say that we as Black people who have endured the humiliation of derogatory names such as niggers, coons, monkeys, spear chuckers, and such should not take these words so seriously but more lightly as a joke. And we as Black people who were made to slave and build this capitalist system for free should continue this capitalist exploitation by way of degrading our own for the sake of humor?

Marlon in the background - That's right fool.

Keenan - Shut up Marlon.

Shawn - Yeah, shut up Marlon and let big bro sell us out.

[Kim Wayans pick up the other phone] - Why don't you get back to your low-income people and leave the rich s**t to us white ass-kissers, we know what's good for our people.

CR - You just shut up woman I'm talking to the men now.

Keenan - Hey nigga, don't talk to my sister like that.

CR - Don't call me a nigga cause I do not embrace "niggerhood" like many mis-educated brothers and sisters out here. I know who I am and no one can label me what they want me to be.

Keenan - Well Massa says you a nigger and that's what yous is, a nigger, like we tryin' to tell all Black America…yall niggers like whitey says.

CR - Alright, I've had enough of this ignorance…talk to yall later…Yall go ahead and promote yall nigga wear, me and millions of Black Americans are going on with our lives. [click]

Damon - did he hang up?

Keenan - I think so…that nigga.

Marlon - I'm gone get you sucka!

Kim - I no he didn't.

Keenan - Let's go see if we still got a job with whitey.
