Thomas Duffy is a retired officer from the NYC Department of Correction and Volunteer worker in 1978 at a New York Drug Rehabilitation Hospital in Queens.

After retiring in 1990, became head counselor and motivational speaker of a youth rehabilitation center in Henryville Pa, until closing. Past member of the NAACP, until they relocated.

Written many articles for Department while employed Often submits Letters to the Editor of the Pocono Record in local area to influence necessary change. Recently had a published article on Black Men in America website.
