THE VOICE OF MANKIND

nigeria (3K)Ultimate Sources of Oppression in Nigeria
By Mankind Olawale Oyewumi

Judging objectively from the series of laws thousands of truly elected, self-appointed, and infamously imposed Legislators from quarters of programmed opprobrium (Legislators who as Mora and social prisoners, were nominated, elected, and sworn-in by fellow prisoners!), and members of the crime-coloured Nigerian executive had drafted and endorsed for our well-being as a people, one sees mental sickness in those lineages of thinking and convictions that hatched them.

The midwifery of anascent nation's constitution, to win popular acceptance and constitutionalism, must have its base in principled morality which ensures survival, happiness, fulfillment and full freedom checkmated only by the equally noble and supreme socio-political vision of splashing these to other sovereigns that abode mortal fellows, without a mind for national gains, beyond the boundaries of national self (samaformism).

Abraham Lincoln, the sixteenth President of America rightly observed that, "Laws are made from what men consider to be right". Even in Ethics, a genealogical genre of philosophy, morality is too primary and basic a requirement in the credentials of those who vie to conduct, control, as well as coagulate the citizenry into a curplous of true collectivism.

This morality, or decent conducts and judgment of events, situations and people are explained in the biology of mammals. The limbic system is responsible for emotion, and consequently, the opinion we give in response to a specific situation. This again is directly dictated by our sense of feelings for factors that force such. A paralyzed, almost moribund limbic system reflects itself in the limitless level of deadly and destructive impacts of policies made to mar a situation, organization, or a nation.

Disabled leadership brain, and not any variety of natural misfortune jeopardizes the Nigerian chances of soaring in social sanity, economic heaven and political peace. As a kind reward to the unkind accomplishments of the Nigerian leaders, I challenge the sanity, the sound health of their limbic system. Otherwise, how could men and women with flesh and blood treat their citizens to such deep degree of privations and still remorselessly decide that eternal destitution is germane to salubrious cerebral leadership?

As a mighty hindrance to caring policies, they all have suffered from receptive sensory aphasia (their hearing mortally impeded!), and neither get disturbed by the roaring complaints of the masses, nor become scared in carrying out social, economic and political plans whose demerits champion the burial of their merits-- if at all they have any! As events had corroborated, their strengths, as vampires, find fulfillment in the execution of pale policies with no ancestral antecedents of enduring the accusation of rationality and kindness.

To a fertile mind, the life we live is a borrowed asset, and the lender, with watchful willingness, accompanied by ability, has for ambition, the just cause of the eventual retrieval of all He had created and nurtured for His glory. Then, what was would cease being; we shall all be no more. But to other mortals, the miniaturist, whose professions and lives contradict this reasoning, advanced vanity is basic to existence, and even essence!

As immoral consequentialists or the devil's instructors, Machaveli's vision or perception of what life should be, rates ultimate in their day-to-day existence. For these people, the questions of good and evil are pivoted upon, not moral scruples and decent survival, but upon the appeasement of the insatiable gods of greed their satanic, criminal ideologies compel as golden tenet.

To this proportion of our population, evil is the propulsive propeller of life, and since they dominate our teeming number by dictating our political pace, evil is haphazardly deified every time, at places that should be holy enough to at least protest against fauxpas, if they cannot house good. Incontestably, evil then plays in the spiritual subconsciousness of these satanic stars, what the Holy Spirit or moral anchorage does in the physiological and anatomical abode of responsible and healthy mortals. In bitter application, rather than practicing democracy in Nigeria, what we worship is demoncracy.

Demoncracy, as a brainchild of my own morphology, is a system of government exclusively run and enjoyed by the idolatory disciples of the devil in a given society. While morality, compassion, and sacrifices are the organs of the Holy Spirit required to run a democracy, extra evil, greed, graft, killings, inaltruism and corrupt corruption are the organs and spirits of demoncracy.

With the evil spirits serving as the energy of the Nigerian leaders, and mental disconfiguration darkening their fatal conducts, we can be certain we have a combination of two most sanity-wretched traits in every man and woman who had played, and are still playing their unepochal roles in our national doom: madness and perfect evil.

For as long as technically mad and hellishly evil characters occupy the Rock Mansion of the Nigerian existence, no fierceness of academic isometrics or criticism and consistency of assisting advice, or fervency of spiritual kangarooism can shift the Nigerian status from the axis of perpetual doom.

It is more than unfortunate that the bunch of terrifically thrilling visions that instigated genuine agitation for self-rule by our founding fathers, and the promises that pilled upon our manumission in 1960 as a sovereign state have all transmogrified into a recipe of unredeemable woes.

A nation intended for, measured and proclaimed by early moral and intellectual dignitaries for the masterpiece of true emancipation now soak itself and its delicate life in the pool of powerful oppression. Ours is an ignoble socio-political setting precluded from the throne of greatness by two most paramount characteristics of demoncracy, the traits of lugubriously lachrymal evil and leucotomising mental status of her human lethals, never leaders!
