It is Your Duty To Throw Off Such Government


"We hold these truths to be self-evident, that all men are created equal, that they are endowed by their Creator with certain unalienable Rights, that among these are Life, Liberty and the pursuit of Happiness.--That to secure these rights, Governments are instituted among Men, deriving their just powers from the consent of the governed, --That whenever any Form of Government becomes destructive of these ends, it is the Right of the People to alter or to abolish it, and to institute new Government, laying its foundation on such principles and organizing its powers in such form, as to them shall seem most likely to effect their Safety and Happiness.

Prudence, indeed, will dictate that Governments long established should not be changed for light and transient causes; and accordingly all experience hath shewn, that mankind are more disposed to suffer, while evils are sufferable, than to right themselves by abolishing the forms to which they are accustomed. But when a long train of abuses and usurpations, pursuing invariably the same Object evinces a design to reduce them under absolute Despotism, it is their right, it is their duty, to throw off such Government, and to provide new Guards for their future security.-" British Colonies Declaration of Independence 1776

As we stand on the threshold of a brand new year and the ruling elites hoped for New World Order, we must reassess where we are, the country's direction and determine what, if anything, we can do to alter the insane direction they are leading us.

Bush and the media in their upside down, Bizzaro world are trying to convince us perpetual war is peace, invasion, occupation and neo-colonial rule are "freedom and democracy" as he and his cronies move to aggressively abridge the civil and procedural rights of AmeriKKKans in the name of "homeland security".

As things get worse it would be good for white folks to revisit the words of their "Declaration of Independence" especially the part where Thomas Jefferson, a slave owning pedophile wrote,

Powerful verbiage, but as the fascists tighten their grip on the economy, the media and the political process, it is the common people who are losing. The cost of the War on Terrorism in blood, lives, coin of the treasury and the resulting loss of civil liberties are taking an horrific toll. The masses must now decide whether or not they will continue to tolerate the accelerating abrogation of their right to "life liberty and the pursuit of happiness" in the name of national security? If not, the question then becomes, "what are we going to do about it?"

In the recent election, over fifty percent of white AmeriKKKans polled stated they disagreed with the direction the nation was headed, yet strangely Bush won 're-election'; despite exit polls showing voter dissatisfaction high enough to elect his opponent?!

Bush now seems committed to furthering the fascist agenda of war, fiscal irresponsibility and recklessness and social cannibalism designed to return AmeriKKKa to the days of robber baron monopoly, racial caste and rigid social stratification that existed during the late nineteenth, early to mid twentieth centuries.

During those eras, many social movements and ideologies like the populous farm and labor movements, socialism and communism arose to challenge the predatory nature of the status quo but the system marginalized them, outlawed them or co-opted them and kept on ticking. What will arise to challenge the current direction of the government?

Many of those who supposedly voted for George W Bush in the 2004 election actually voted against their own economic interests. Will the consequences of their foolishness return to haunt them? Will the divisiveness and dissatisfaction that exists give rise to open antagonisms similar to what lead to the War between the States?

If you look at a pre Civil War map of slave and free states it resembles the Blue-Red fissures of the present political landscape. What does this portend for AmeriKKKa? Will there be more bickering, animosity and partisan acrimony leading to civil warfare? Will the fascists succeed in keeping a lid on the system by stifling dissent and political opposition?

One thing for sure, if the current trend towards a fascist police state determined to trample the rights of the masses continues, the more conscious among us should read, reread, reflect and meditate on the words of the U.S. Declaration of Independence, "

This is serious food for thought.
