"The Allied occupation of Germany is approaching its sixth decade, and in the eyes of many Germans it has not yet ended. Foreign armies are still based on German soil and Europe's largest and most prosperous "democracy" still does not have a constitution and a peace treaty putting a formal end to World War II. If the German model is applied to Iraq, there may never be a formal end to the war in Iraq. Because there is no formal peace treaty between Germany and the Allies headed by the US, German sovereignty is compromised. On October 20, 1985, John Kornblum of the US State Department told Germany's provisional Reichskanzler Wolfgang Gerhard Geunter Ebel: "Until we have a peace treaty, Germany is a colony of the United States." Ebel headed the provisional government that claims to be the legal successor to the Second German Reich, which was replaced by Adolf Hitler's illegal Third Reich (1933-45)"-. Henry C.K. Liu The Burden of Being A Superpower If the corporate mass media truly had the best interests of the AmeriKKKan people at heart, there would have been robust debate and discussion prior to the invasion of both Afghanistan and Iraq. Even if the shock of 9-11 made it easy for Bush and Co. to launch their already planned invasion of Afghanistan under the guise of deposing the Taliban because they refused to turn over Osama bin Laden; an aggressive and free press would have asked for proof positive and not merely taken the Bush administration's word bin Laden was the culprit. The total cooperation and support of the corporate press for the invasion of Iraq has helped create the current quagmire there and contributes to the spiraling death toll for AmeriKKKan soldiers and innocent Iraqis. No freethinking person in this country believes the corporate media has the best interests of the AmeriKKKan people at heart. By that reckoning, the media will continue to do the bidding of its owners by continuing the current campaign of disinformation, misinformation and deceit to insure the plutocrats' agenda is carried out. In order for the ruling elites to foist their New World Order upon the planet, they must first brainwash the AmeriKKKan masses to go along with their program. This is the role of the US corporate media, not just the news organizations but also Hollywood, television and computer games. During the last decade, Hollywood has issued numerous films depicting Arabs as "terrorists" in addition to the usual white supremacist imperialist fare. The mass media's lopsided support of the War on Terrorism and uncritical parroting of the Bush administration's agenda are part and parcel of the ruling elite's media mind control program that has been in effect since WWII. (See Operation Mockingbird). Secondly, they must put in place massively repressive measures to discourage and punish domestic resistance to their fascist program. Thus far, the fascists have mainly resorted to marginalizing dissenters. Here have been several incidents of fear and intimidation to coerce the populous into going along. Threats of job loss kept most of the press in line right after 9-11 when Bush and Co bum rushed the nefarious PATRIOT ACT through a cowering Congress. To underscore the intimidation factor anthrax laden letters were sent to the Democratic congressional leadership (that's right, not one Republican legislator received an anthrax letter) and a few key media people as a warning to go along with the program! Now AmeriKKKa is locked into a worsening situation in Iraq. The Iraqis aren't stupid they knew about John Negroponte's (the AmeriKKKan Ambassador to Iraq) reputation before he arrived. Unlike the bamboozled and comatose AmeriKKKa public, the Iraqis knew about the death squads and tortures Negroponte's oversaw during his watch in Honduras! His appointment and arrival added fuel to the fire and spurred the escalation of a nation wide resistance to the US occupation. Every day the resistance grows. The Bush administration has been criticized for not having an exit strategy in Iraq. They don't have an exit strategy because the US has no intention of leaving Iraq any time soon! Understand this, US occupation forces have been in South Korea since the 1950's, the US military has occupied Germany and Japan since the end of WWII and the US Army has been in the Philippines since the end of the Spanish-AmeriKKKan War in 1898! None of these nations has huge reserves of oil or natural gas! Iraq is part of an expanding AmeriKKKan empire. However, the AmeriKKKan Empire is primarily an economic hegemony rather than a military one. The US military's mission is to back up the multi-national corporations, the IMF and World Bank "globalization" agenda. This pattern was first established in Central and South AmeriKKKa by the "Monroe Doctrine" in 1823 with backing from the British. The Neo-Cons and Zionists who pushed the Invasion of Iraq merely hitched their agenda to this pre-existing imperialist cart. Unfortunately, for them the wheels of this over laden wagon may soon fall off. The resulting crash will be catastrophic, not only for the fascist Neo-Cons and Zionists but all of AmeriKKKa.
