THE MASTERMIND TEAM - The coordination of knowledge and effort, with a spirit of harmony between two or more people, to obtain a definite purpose.

1. The first step to building your mastermind team is to realize that no individual will have great power without surrounding himself with a team of masterminds. Successful individuals are part of a successful team. No man is an island and there is no I in team. Together Everyone Achieves More. Although we live in a country that promotes individualism, every successful individual is a part of some network, team or organization.

Have you ever heard the saying "It's not what you know, it's who you know"? Most of us are busy trying to expand our heads instead of expanding our network. Take the first step today and begin to surround yourself with like-minded individuals who can help you reach your goals.

2. When building your mastermind team you must build it with people who have the ability to help you achieve your goals. Let's deal with real estate. If you are an investor you will need in your inner circle an appraiser, mortgage banker, closing attorney, title company, contractor, locators and a real estate agent.

These people will help you reach your investment and financial goals. If one of these pieces are missing it could mean the difference between a deal closing or being held in limbo. Your team is like your body, if one part is missing you are handicapped. That's why teamwork is so important to the success of any venture. One person can be the difference between whether you fail or succeed in life.

3. A successful mastermind team must be made up of like-minded individuals who see your vision and therefore will lend support to it. The inner circle must also consist of individuals who can work with you and not against you. They must be willing to lend you the proper support that you need to give birth to your vision. If the people around you cannot help you achieve the success you are looking for you need to disconnect from them.

People should be able to add spiritual, intellectual, emotional or financial support to your vision; otherwise, they are not needed. Most of us have developed emotional attachments to people who don't help us grow in life and we find it hard to break away. Success is not an easy road to travel; it is only for those who can make the hard decisions to disconnect from the unfruitful people in their lives. Make that decision today.

4. Another key in building your mastermind team is to employ brainpower. Are you familiar with the saying, "two heads are better than one?" When you surround yourself with other intelligent minds that are working on one accord, nothing is impossible and great things are bound to happen. Successful examples of brainpower include Bill Gates and Paul Allen of Microsoft. Henry Ford and Thomas Edison became two of the most successful men in America after they teamed up.

You must make this principle work for you if you want to succeed in life. You will inevitably become a reflection of the seven people that surround you. Therefore, make sure you are surrounded by winners and those who share your vision of greatness. If you associate with poverty-minded small thinking individuals that is what you will receive in life. Find your success soul-mate who will help take you to the top.

The last step in establishing a mastermind team is the ability to produce harmony in your team. Money and wealth are attracted to organization and harmony. Riches and wealth are shy and elusive. They only appear after a well executed plan. Poverty needs no plan to be a constant in your life. Poverty is bold and shows up everyday to your doorstep like an unwanted lover. Poverty is ruthless and doesn't care about its victims.

The only way to fight it is to have a burning desire, unwavering persistence and a well executed plan of action. Your team must work together in unity with one mind and one heart to defeat poverty and attain wealth. A house divided against it self will surely fall. If you allow yourself and your team to be divided, you will fail every time. Therefore, it is important to remain a united front then no one or nothing will be able to stop you. Build your mastermind team today and start living the life of your dreams.
